Notice of Meeting and Invitation to Exhibitors
We are writing to extend an invitation for you
and your company to join the Michigan Association of Blood
Banks for the 57th Annual Scientific Meeting to be held on
September 14th and 15th, 2011. The meeting and vendor displays
will once again be at Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan.
This community college boasts an award-winning culinary arts
school, as well as a new meeting center with state-of-the-art
presentation equipment. This is our eighth year at Schoolcraft
College and everyone enjoys the food and the facilities.
The fee for exhibit space in lieu of corporate
dues is $500.00. This fee includes one table (8ft) and one
electrical outlet. Additional tables, if available, will be
an additional $50.00. Additional electrical power, if needed,
is available and must be requested through the coordinator.
Wireless internet service is available in the exhibit area.
Please note on the exhibit application if you need any other
special requirements for your booth.
As an exhibitor, you can attend the annual meeting
and bring as many representatives as you need. We will provide
two lunches for each day of the meeting. Lunches must be reserved
when you reserve your booth so that we may have a correct
head count for the meals (see Exhibit
Application Form). You can order additional lunches if
you wish to invite other representatives to attend.
The fee for Corporate membership is $550.00.
This includes all the exhibitor benefits, in addition to receiving
all member mailings and one complimentary advertisement in
the on-line MABB quarterly publication
"In A Different Vein."
There are many intangible benefits of participation
with the MABB. Your corporation and its products will be exposed
to over 200 professionals active in the blood banking community
throughout the state, including technologists, specialists,
supervisors, lab managers and physicians. The MABB is one
of the oldest and most prestigious state blood banking associations
in the country, dedicated towards advancing high standards
of administrative and technical performance through educational
programs and professional resource sharing. By participating
with MABB you are showing support for your customers and an
interest in their educational advancement in the field of
transfusion medicine.
Exhibits can be shipped to the attention of
